Why NOW is the perfect time to start an online Jewelry Business

It occurred to me the other day, as I was thinking of the hardships people are experiencing, that now really is the perfect time to start an online jewelry business...either as a full time career or as a side gig for additional income. Especially for those of us that love jewelry and love making jewelry.  

Why now? There are the obvious Covid reasons....people are at home, possibly furloughed, possibly laid off or hours cut back. With Covid, if you were to summarize it, there are many people out there with income that has been reduced. A source for additional income is something they are looking for. Additional income that specifically, can be made while working from the safety of their home.

The truth is, I have always thought the jewelry business is a great way to make a living, well before the pandemic.  It's fun. It's creative. It's beautiful and it brings joy to those who make it and to those who purchase it.

There are so many unknowns right now and many of you are uncertain about the future, worried about money and unsure of the direction of your life and work.  Here is what I know...during uncertain times, the best thing to do is focus on what you CAN control and the best remedy for stress is ACTION. 

And I know the online jewelry business is a viable option, as I am a jewelry designer myself and have been for 23 years. I also sell jewelry supplies to women and men all over the globe, who make a living doing so as well.
